Jump PDF (“we”, “us”) provides free online document tools at jumpdf.com. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what happens when you use our website.
Files stay on your device
Our tools are designed to process files in your browser whenever possible. We do not upload your documents to our servers for routine tool operations, and we do not store your files after processing.
Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to operate the service:
- Technical logs — standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps for security and troubleshooting.
- Contact information — only if you voluntarily email us or submit our contact form (for example, when reporting an error).
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser local storage for security, core functionality, and — with your consent — analytics or advertising. For a full list of technologies, retention periods, and how to manage your choices, see our Cookie Policy.
You can change non-essential cookie preferences at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer.
Third-party services
We load open-source libraries from our own servers to run tools in your browser. We do not send your file contents to third-party APIs for processing unless a specific tool clearly states otherwise before you use it.
Data retention
Because we do not store uploaded files, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf after a session ends. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and then removed or anonymized.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Email [email protected] or use our contact form to make a request.
Children and families
Jump PDF may be used by children with parental or guardian supervision. We are committed to the Google Play Families Policy where our Android app or website is made available to children or to audiences that include children.
We do not offer child-specific accounts. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children except when a parent, guardian, or user voluntarily contacts us (for example, via email or our contact form). Most tools process files on the user’s device and do not upload documents to our servers for storage. For full Families Policy commitments, advertising rules, and parental rights, see our Play Families Policy page.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version.
